The Fire & Ice Concert Series presented by the Horicon Phoenix Project and the Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre (BDACT) highlights the region’s favorite bands and up-and-coming groups. There’s no better place to celebrate Wisconsin’s best music in a casual and relaxed environment with state-of-the-art sound and lights. December 2 • Feed the Dog with Special Guest Lucky Pickers
Join us at BDACT for the first concert in our Fire & Ice Series. Come and be entertained by Midwest band, Feed the Dog. This genre-bending group takes elements of bluegrass, jam, rock, folk, americana, and soul to create their engaging sound. Get warmed up for their exciting show with special guest opener, Lucky Pickers, a bluegrass duo sure to get your toes tapping.
January 13 • Orlando Peña & The Midnight Purchase with Special Guest Whitney Rose
At the second in our Fire & Ice Concert Series performances, you’ll be wooed into your seat by lyrical singer/songwriter, Whitney Rose. Whitney’s love for storytelling and harmony will tug at your heart. Then prepare to be wowed by the main act of the night, Orlando Pena & The Midnight Purchase. This award-winning americana/soul folk band will entertain you with their musical tales of life, introspection, and finding a sense of purpose in the world.
February 17 • Old Soul Society with Special Guest Elwood Lee & Michael Roddy
The final show in our Fire & Ice Concert Series features Beaver Dam favorites, Elwood Lee & Michael Roddy. This duo from Whiskey Flats will kick off the evening with their country/rock harmonies and familiar 1970s covers. They’ll open for the band Old Soul Society, a Wisconsin-based group (with BD local, Kenny Leiser) that has been winning the hearts of audiences since 2016. Powerful, heartfelt lyrics are joined with engaging rock/soul/blues instrumentals that will keep you humming long after the show is done.
