Paddle City Big Band

BDACT is pleased to host The Paddle City Big Band for the final concert of their third season!

PCBB, which was established in 2022, takes the stage at BDACT twice a year with spring and fall Sunday matinee concerts. They are 19 members strong, consisting of local musicians who share a love for big band music. PCBB performs traditional big band music from Glenn Miller and Count Basie, to contemporary arrangements of familiar popular tunes in the big band style. 

Paddle City’s Fall Concert on Nov. 23 will feature compositions made popular by Count Basie (Front Burner), Glen Miller (In The Mood),  Bill Chase (Love Theme from Superman), and the Beatles (Yesterday). PCBB is thrilled to share the stage with guest artists It’s About Time, a vocal quartet that will join the band for the Andrew Sisters hits Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Don’t Sit Under The Apple Tree, with the band recreating the Glenn Miller Big Bag Band.
