Behind the Scenes

Mission: Improv-able, as an improv show, seems at first glance to not have much happening behind the scenes. It's just improv, right? Jump on stage and make stuff up?

The curtain is about to rise on the beloved musical "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," but behind the scenes, a different kind of magic is happening. A team of dedicated volunteers and a talented set artist are hard at work, transforming a blank stage into a vibrant world of love, laughter, and life's little moments.

Steve Meyer is a talented artist and craftsman who loves bringing creative ideas to life. When his wife, Deb, Director of Cobble Me This, needed help creating a whimsical stage design for a Scottish cobbler’s cottage in the mid-1700’s, she knew exactly who to lean into.

A talented troupe of painters work to create the enchanting woodsy world, where fairytale characters converge with hopes of healing.
