Arts education experiences at Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre (BDACT) provide an engaging and supportive environment for students of all ages to learn and develop core stage skills, build self-confidence, make new friends and have a lot of fun doing it!

BDACT Children’s Chorus

The ONE VOICE children’s chorus provides an opportunity for area students in grades 3-5 to find joy in a variety of musical styles at their level. Music and instruction encourage singers to work together and develop pride in their efforts and accomplishments in the art of choral singing and confidence on stage. 

ONE VOICE rehearses at BDACT from 5-6 pm on Sundays and hosts two concerts.

Students in grades 2-3 and in grades 4-5 learn the building blocks of theater including movement, character development, pantomime, and much more! While they are having fun, students also build confidence and poise that will help them throughout their lives.

A MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAY EXPERIENCE

Curses! A Fractured Fairies’ Tale

Middle school-aged students gain an in-depth theatre experience both onstage and backstage during this new BDACT theatre education opportunity. Participants will learn lines and blocking, while also exploring the technical elements of props, sets, costumes, lights, and sound. Together the company will stage a public performance to share their newly developed skills.
