One Voice

A BDACT Youth Education Showcase

The One Voice Children’s Chorus provides an opportunity for area students in grades 3-6 to have fun singing a variety of musical styles. Singers are encouraged to work together, develop pride in their effort and achievements and gain confidence on stage.

Join ONE VOICE for the Fall and Spring Semesters!

  • Register for one or both semesters: $35 for a single semester, 9 classes and 1 concert OR $60 for both semesters, 18 classes and 2 concerts

  • Cost: Includes a T-shirt and music binder

  • Students will perform in one public concert at the end of each semester.

Classes

Classes will be from 9:15 AM - 10:30 AM on Saturdays:

First Semester

  • September 12, 19

  • October 3, 10, 17, 24

  • November 7, 14

  • December 5, 12

Second Semester

  • January 9, 16, 23, 30

  • February 6, 20, 27

  • March 13 one additional rehearsal Thursday, March 4, 5:15 - 6:30pm

Concerts

Concerts will be held at the BDACT Fine Arts Center:

  • Sunday, December 13: 2:00 PM - Kamps Auditorium

  • Sunday, March 15: 2:00 PM – Kamps Auditorium

Three ways to pay

1. Pay by cash or check at the BDACT Box Office, 117 W. Maple Ave., Beaver Dam. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am-4 pm.

2. Pay at class with cash or check.

Meet One Voice's New Director!

Sarah Swigert has a degree in vocal performance with a minor in piano. She has been teaching music from her private studio in Horicon since 2022, where she offers both vocal and piano lessons. She has also been involved as a musician and cantor with Dodge County Catholic Parishes since 2017. Sarah was formerly the accompanist for One Voice from 2023-2024 as well and is thrilled to be returning to this group!
