Please note that auditions for this production are recommended for those aged 18 and older. This age guideline ensures performers can fully engage with the material and roles available in this show. Parent or guardian permission is required for any performers or crew members under the age of 18.
The auditions will include singing, dancing, and reading lines from the show. Although this is a musical, there will be some non singing roles available. The cast will include five women and five men, who will depict various roles throughout the show. Actors must be comfortable with adult language and suggestive nudity.
If you are auditioning for a singing role, please prepare a short song that showcases your vocal range. You may either sing acapella, or with a track if you have one. Your vocal range will also be checked at auditions, but in case you know yours, here are the ranges for this music.
Women’s vocal ranges A3-Bb5 & F#3-Db5
Men’s vocal ranges C3-G#4 and Db3-Gb4
While walk-in auditions are welcome, we encourage you to sign up for a time slot so we can be ready for you. To save time, complete the online BDACT Audition form, and be sure to print and fill out the conflict calendar beforehand. This way, you can focus on delivering your best performance instead of handling paperwork.
