BDACT Unveils an Exciting Lineup for its 2025 Season!

The Beaver Dam Area Community Theatre (BDACT) announces the 2025 season featuring an extraordinary array of performances that promise to inspire and delight audiences of all ages. The new schedule incorporates long-standing audience favorites like the summer mainstage musical with new features like original productions by local playwrights. As one of the region's most comfortable performance environments, live concerts allow fans an intimate experience with their favorite musicians. BDACT's youth education programs highlighting performing arts skills remain prominent.
This is our most ambitious schedule ever," noted BDACT Managing Director David Alan Smith. "We're excited to bring this schedule, incorporating so many magical experiences to the community.
Mainstage shows hosted in the Kamps Auditorium include "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change," "Rogers + Hammerstein Cinderella," and "The Play That Goes Wrong". A special season ticket package allows customers to receive a 20 percent discount when they purchase tickets for each of these three shows at once.
The new Feature Production series highlights new and original works and opens with "Gingerbread Clinic" in January. Other feature productions include "Cobble Me This" in March, "Four Glasses" in September, and "Radium Girls" in November. Individual tickets for Feature Productions are $15. For a limited time, customers may take advantage of a special pricing offer to buy tickets for three shows for only $40.
The ticket packages allow us to welcome more people into the magic of live theater," explained Smith. "It's about getting on peoples' calendars with unforgettable events that inspire, entertain, and connect us all.
Area students can especially look forward to their time to shine during the summer Tell-A-Tale and Area High School productions.. Our talented area high school cast presents "Guys and Dolls". The Jerry Awards consistently recognize BDACT's Area High School Production for outstanding on-stage and behind-the-scenes excellence. Elementary-grade students will perform "Alice in Wonderland" as the Tell-A-Tale grades 3-5 troupe. The Tell-A-Tale Grades 6-8 present the high-energy musical "School of Rock".
Participants in BDACT's performance classes for youth, the One Voice Children's Chorus, Class Act, and Acting Up, take the stage periodically to highlight what they've learned. Enrollment for these education opportunities takes place each autumn. One Voice Children's Chorus hosts three seasonal concerts, while the acting classes present showcase performances in March.
With a growing reputation as an exceptional concert venue, BDACT again collaborated with the Horicon Phoenix Program to schedule Fire & Ice Concerts. The WhiskeyBelles known for their engaging live shows, which feature strong vocal harmonies and expert musicianship perform on February 8. With an innovative style and electrifying stage presence set them apart, The MilBillies performance on March 8 is anticipated to feature equal parts skilled musicianship and lively entertainment.
BDACT also features several exclusive performance groups that add dynamic energy to our season lineup. Together, these groups showcase the breadth of talent at BDACT, offering something for everyone and enriching our community through the performing arts
MISSION:IMPROV-able, our resident improv troupe, delivers quick-witted, unscripted comedy that keeps audiences laughing. Known for their creativity and chemistry, this group is perfect for fans of spontaneous, interactive theater.
The Paddle City Big Band brings timeless musical performances to life with a professional-quality sound. Their concerts are a cornerstone of BDACT's musical programming, celebrating classic and contemporary musical stylings.
In Hein Sight, a delightful and unique series of performances created by longtime BDACT contributor Judy Hein returns in December 2025 with a special holiday show.
