Working 9-to-5 is brutal, but working for literal corporate aliens is worse.
When David, a recent grad holding two masters degrees and zero practical office skills, lands an entry-level gig, he thinks he’s finally caught a break. Sure, his coworker Steve is hyper-competitive, Tammy at the front desk is aggressively cynical, and the Overlord boss is oddly obsessed with stapling protocol and custom-brewed coffee. But a job is a job.
It doesn't take long for David to realize that at ZDE Corporation, "corporate synergy" means losing your mind…literally. As one temp after another falls under a coffee-fueled, brain-draining spell, David and Tammy must navigate office politics, rogue coffee machines, and terrifyingly mindless colleagues before they’re permanently integrated into the workforce.
Will David preserve his brain, secure a coffee break, and win the girl? Or will he just end up another zombie on the payroll?
