This new BDACT acting and skills workshop is a training and performance program designed for high school age students to level up their theatrical skills and knowledge. Students will gain confidence as they delve into more advanced acting techniques and Shakespearean roles, culminating in these exciting public performances! The same cast of students performs all the roles in both productions.

The Tempest

An old magician, Prospero, conjures up a wild tempest to inflict revenge on his brother, Antonio, for his betrayal many years prior which resulted in Prospero and his daughter, Miranda, being exiled on a remote island.

Magic, mischief, and mayhem abound in this production of Shakespeare's The Tempest. The story is an ageless tale of sibling rivalry, revenge, love, and forgiveness, played out with a flurry of flawed humans as well as a host of mischievous mythical creatures.
