Crafting a Photoshoot from Concept to Cast

Editor's Note: BDACT marketing assistant Aubrey Lehman channeled her artistic skills into the publicity photoshoot for the BDACT Area High School Production of Guys and Dolls. We asked her to discuss her creative process:

When planning for a photoshoot I always make a mood board. It allows me to think about what I want everything to look like. For Guys and Dolls, I took inspiration from the movie and stage show, along with photos with a 1940s style. During the photoshoot I kept in mind the style and ideas. What really made the photos was the cast. I told them to be in character and have fun.
