Paddle City Big Band

A community-based, volunteer jazz orchestra providing big band and modern jazz music for all to enjoy.

Formed in the fall of 2022 by Kim and Todd Halverson, the Paddle City Big Band (PCBB) is a jazz orchestra combining the big band swing sounds of the 1930s and ‘40s with contemporary music such as funk and jazz fusion. The ensemble consists of 18 area musicians and currently performs twice a year.

Join us for the PCBB Fall Concert on Sunday, November 19, 2023, and be entertained by this talented group bringing you decades of music in one afternoon. Hear tunes including Count Basie’s “April in Paris” to Bob Mintzer’s “Heart of the Matter,” along with Buddy Rich’s “Keep The Customers Satisfied” and Earth, Wind, and Fire’s, “September.”
