A High School Dance Class

High School students! We know you’ve got moves, but let’s amp them up in our new Dance Call Class. This class is designed to help you achieve expressive body styling and emotional dance expressions. You’ll have a great time learning the latest jazz and musical choreography steps which will boost your dance confidence. Whether you’re dancing with friends, or auditioning for a musical our Dance Call Class will be a gamechanger. Your moves will be lit! 

We are offering two, 6-week classes for students in a fun, safe environment. All ability levels are welcome.

Fall Session- Jazz Focus: Sept. 13 – Oct. 18

Spring Session - Theatre Dance: Feb. 7 – March 11

Classes / Payments

SESSION I: JAZZ

Sundays September 13, 2026 - October 18, 2026

In this class you’ll discover how our bodies move in space, become familiar with common dance terminology and learn how to quickly pick up choreography. Our end goal will be to learn a full 1- to 2-minute routine and have a great time in the process. Jazz shoes or tennis shoes are encouraged. No socks!

SESSION II: THEATRE DANCE

Sundays February 7, 2027 - March 14, 2027

Musical theatre lovers, this class is for you! We’ll work on performance value, become familiar with dancing in heels or character shoes and work on developing our brain-body connection skills. This class will elevate your theatre dance skills and give you a boost of confidence the next time you take the stage.

Three Ways to Pay

1. Pay by cash or check at the BDACT Box Office, 117 W. Maple Ave., Beaver Dam. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am-4 pm.

2. Pay at class deadlines — Sep 27 (for Session I), Feb 21 (for Session II) with cash or check.

About the Instructor

Kaleigh Wedel has been dancing since she was 3 and started teaching when she was 15 at her family’s daycare center in Sun Prairie. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Montclair State University in New Jersey, where she was “Swing, Dance Captain, and Cheer Captain” in the international tour of Bring It On. Kaleigh also has worked as a dancer and singer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Holland America Line.
