The Dance Call
Dance Classes for Adults
Admit it, music makes your toes tap, your hips sway and your heart beat with excitement. Enhance your rhythm and elevate your moves in our new Dance Call Classes.
Class Fee: $320 for all three sessions (9 months), $110 per session (3 months)
Unit 1: Jazz
Tuesdays, September 2- November 25, 6:30-8 pm
Become familiar with how your body moves and common dance terminology.
Learn simple combinations that connect mind and body.
Develop the ability to quickly pick up choreography.
Work toward learning a full 1- to 2-minute routine.
Unit 2: Theatre Dance
Tuesdays, December 2 – February 24, 6:30-8 pm
Experience dancing in heels or men’s character shoes.
Focus on enhancing performance value.
Apply skills and combinations from Unit 1 in character shoes while learning new combinations and brain/body connection skills.
Work toward learning a full 1- to 2-minute routine.
Unit 3: Tap
Tuesdays, March 3- May 26, 6:30-8 pm
Become comfortable dancing in tap or tennis shoes.
Learn tap terminology.
Develop more difficult skills at a gradual pace.
Work on rhythm and dancing in unison.
Begin with small combinations and work toward a 1- to 2-minute routine.
Three Ways to Pay
1. Pay by cash or check at the BDACT Box Office, 117 W. Maple Ave., Beaver Dam. Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 am-4 pm.
2. Pay at class deadlines — Oct 1 (for Unit 1), Dec 15 (for Unit 2), March 15 (for Unit 3) with cash or check.

About the Instructor
Kaleigh Wedel has been dancing since she was 3 and started teaching when she was 15 at her family’s daycare center in Sun Prairie. She completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre at Montclair State University in New Jersey, where she was “Swing, Dance Captain, and Cheer Captain” in the international tour of Bring It On. Kaleigh also has worked as a dancer and singer for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines and Holland America Line.
