A BDACT Youth Education Showcase
This new BDACT acting and skills workshop for high-school-age students is designed to level up their theatrical skills and knowledge. This workshop will help them gain confidence as they delve into more advanced acting techniques and Shakespearean roles. The class will culminate with two, one-hour performances, The Tempest, in Kamps Auditorium and Julius Caesar, in Encore Hall. There is no class fee!

The first rehearsal will be Dec. 1.
Rehearsals will be most weekday evenings (not every cast member will be needed for every rehearsal), some Saturday mornings and occasional Sunday evenings. We will have more rehearsals as the performances get closer.
We will have rehearsals Dec. 27-31.
Participants will have principal role in one show and minor role in the other show.
Performances will be Jan. 7-11. Ticketed event.

For auditions, we'd like one monologue that is a maximum of 3 minutes long or two contrasting monologues that are a combined maximum of 4 minutes long.
