About the Show!

Nominated for six Tony Awards, this classic musical has been updated for a modern age, featuring new songs by Tony Award-winning Lin-Manuel Miranda, as well as favorites by Stephen Schwartz, Craig Carnelia and James Taylor. This examination of 26 people from all walks of life proves that it’s more than just a job for the average working American. Based on Studs Terkel’s best-selling book of interviews with American workers, Working paints a vivid portrait of the men and women that the world so often takes for granted: the schoolteacher, the phone operator, the waitress, the millworker, the mason and the housewife, just to name a few.

Streaming your event to a television (TV)

We recommend tuning in early in case there is a problem getting your stream to work on your device. ShowTix4U streaming is browser based (no apps). If you would like to watch the stream on a television, you can do so using Airplay or Chromecast.

Airplay a video to Apple TV using Mobile Device

With your device connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Apple TV, start playing a video and tap the AirPlay icon in the lower right-hand corner of the player. Just like that, your selected video will begin playing on your TV!

Desktop Computer Airplay

If using a desktop computer, the Airplay icon will not appear in the player, you will want to use the native screen sharing of the computer monitor to stream your entire screen via Airplay or Cast and then put the player in full screen mode.

Cast a video to Chromecast

Chromecast does not allow you to cast your screen or tab from an iOS device. For this we recommend the application Replica

Roku (Windows and Android only) ku/#:~:text=Roku%20devices%20recently%20gained%20a,or%20Google’s%20Chromecast%20screen %2Dmirroring.

Firestick ote,device%20to%20connect%20to%20it.

Can I start viewing on one device and resume on another using a single code?

Yes. You can change the device they are watching your streaming event on at any time. They would simply need to log into the stream on the new device, and it will log them out of the old device automatically.

Also, make sure that other computers on your network are not streaming at the same time as you plan on watching a ShowTix4U stream.
