One Day

By Ricardo Ramirez

If you could have one more minute, one hour… one day to share a moment, what would you say? How would it feel?

One Day explores confronting loss and how different couples cope with the idea of moving on and starting over. Inspired by a family story, the playwright’s mother shared how her widowed father would come home from work, walk up the steps to the bedroom, and speak to his deceased wife about his day as if she were still present. This heartfelt and memorable connection invites each of us to consider how we might handle our inevitable losses.

Director: Carla Woebbeking

Producers: Jennifer Bohlig & Jill Kaufman
